The Department of Education and Training (DET) provides funding for the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) High Intensity Program at Yarrabah School. The OSHC Program began in Term 3 2018 as a pilot program addressing a gap in care services for children and young people with disability. It aims to:
The service is operated by TheirCare and is provided free of charge to families. After school care operates from 3pm to 6pm daily and school holiday programs operate from 9am to 5pm.
TheirCare provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for all children and are committed to building relationships with the school community. During OSHC sessions, children develop life skills, friendships, confidence and creativity through play.

For general enquires regarding the OSHC program and student bookings and on the day cancellations, please contact Amber Hutchinson (TheirCare Program Manager), or Caitlin McAnearney (TheirCare Assistant Program Manager) on 0476 004 524. Amber and Caitlin are also available face-to-face from 10am to 6pm weekdays at Yarrabah School.
